Caudill's Wholesale is very proud to offer impressive, primitive and country framed art with handmade, rustic wood frames that are carefully crafted in eastern Kentucky......
Here at Caudill’s Wholesale we take 1”X 4”pine lumber and turn it in to a rustic looking rough sawn barn wood lumber.
It took me two years to find the right equipment to do the job. I went to framing trade shows looking for this type of moldingand couldn’t find it no one had it, I also went to wood working trade shows still no luck so I sent samples of wood out to company’s that sold equipment and at last I found the right machine that would give me the rough sawn look I wanted.
The wood is put through two machines the first puts the rabbet into the wood that is the cut where the print fits into the frame and the second is the one that makes the rough finish from there we take it to the saw to cut it into the 45 degree angles and then on to the under pinner to nail the frame together then on to the paint room and then you have the finished frame.
